Which I really think

But something is missing

So we make plans

We set a date

And before the day

We're going to meet

I get the conformation

For this special treat

I purchase the ticket

So crisp and new

The day finally comes

I feel such rapture

As time creeps to

The time of departure

I pack my bag

And take a shower

I'll be with you

Within a few hours

I brush my teeth

And comb my hair

I'm gonna look good

When I get there

I catch the bus

You drive your car

But I only wish

It wasn't so far

I get there first

And wait for you

And when you arrive

I'm no longer blue

We hug each other

The instant we meet

Having you so close

Is such a treat

I say to you

"I love you Ruth"

"I've missed you so"

And that's the truth

I kiss your lips

And hold you tight

The feeling I get

I just can't fight

I touch your hair

And caress your face

The smell of you

Makes my heart race

Looking in your eyes

I feel your love

I thank the stars

That shine from above

I hold your hand

And open your door

As you get in

I then walk around

And I get in

We start to leave

We begin the drive

To our favorite room

We finally get there

And we check in

We get the key

And say "al fin"

We unpack the car

And I get ice

We take a shower

And smell so nice

We have a drink

We talk and laugh

That's when I know

You're my other half

We listen to music

And dance real slow

And feel our love

Over each other flow

We're with each other

Where we should be

In each other's arms

Just you, just me

I hold you tight

And kiss your lips

I rub your back

And caress your hips

We both lay down

And touch and kiss

And make sweet love

To an explosive bliss

During these few days

And also the nights

We bring one another

To such exquisite heights

As you lay there

It's to the store

For odds and ends

We didn't get before

We enter the store

And we look around

We end up buying

Part of the romance

When we play lotto

And take a chance

We play a game

Before we do go

It is just luck

This we both know

To our first home

We do then return

To that little world

Where our passions burn

We sit and talk

We'd like to rest

But yet to come

Is the very best

You love to swim

And so do I

It's so much fun

That ain't no lie

You look so nice

In your swimming suit

And I can't resist

Touching your delicious fruit

We take a swim

And play around

We hug and kiss

We're heaven bound

We come back in

And take a shower

And then make love

We then get up

And we get dressed

We have a drink

We're no longer stressed

We then go out

To find some fun

And we end up

Buying a sticky bun

We look for somewhere

Where we can dance

But of finding something

There's not much chance

We hit the bar

To play some pool

The way you play

Your just too cool

On our way back

It's that darn train

I laugh at you

When you don't refrain

To cuss it out

When you jokingly say

I wish that SOB

Would just go away

When we get home

You call your house

And I sit there

As quite as a mouse

And then you say

You'd like to rest

So you'll be rested

For what come next

I let you sleep

For a little while

I look at you

And I do smile

I love to watch

When you fall asleep

It kindles my love

From so very deep

I love to hear

Your breath so soft

It makes my heart

Want to float aloft

I see you smile

While you do dream

And I ask myself

"Is it whip cream?"

I have a beer

Or maybe two

And then I long

To lay with you

I get in bed

And hold you tight

And when sleep comes

I do not fight

For then I know

I'm where I belong

And long to stay

For so very long

For three fabulous days

We find such bliss

Each time we hug

And when we kiss

But the time together

Just goes too fast

Even though we wish

Forever it would last

And while we know

It's hard to conceive

This heaven on earth

We'll have to leave

We hold each other

Oh so very tight

And promise no tears

On our last night

And we make love

And make it last

For we both realize

Tomorrow is coming fast

The last day comes

As time marches on

And our time together

Is all but gone

We wake up early

And just once more

We make sweet love

Like each time before

We enjoy each other

For a little while

We hug and kiss

And try to smile

The trip back home

We hate to face

We'd rather stay

In this special place

We take a shower

And pack the car

We leave with sadness

To travel far

When we check out

We prepare your car

For your trip home

Which is rather far

And then we go

And grab a bite

And this saddening feeling

We try to fight

We tell each other

One day for sure

These trips we make

Will be no more

For we'll be together

And someday at last

All of this traveling

Will be in the past

We then go back

Trying to go slow

To where we met

A few days ago

We sit and wait

Till the bus arrives

Fighting this feeling

That feels like knives

And when it comes

I long to stay

Right by your side

Each and every day

But I must go

And so must you

We will be back

I know that's true

We hold each other

I hear you cry

When I hear this

I want to die

I hold you tight

And then we kiss

And tell one other

Each other we'll miss

And "I love you"

Us having to part

Is so very tough
