Why a miniature donkey? A donkey with proper care and enoough space can be one of the best pets you ever ask for. Donkeys come in a wide range of color: white, black, brown, grey dunn, sorrel, and spotted. They are cute, playful, loyal, very gentle, and like to be by your side all of the time. They are one of the most intelligent animals that we have had the privilage of being around. The average mini donkey is 36" and under. All of the mini donkeys that we have will be 29" to 34" in height. They get along with almost all other animals. Main source of food is grass and grass hay. Some of theyre favorite snacks include Apple chips, Carrots, and Apples. We add feed to the diet when they are less then a year old or when the Jenny is in foal. Proper care includes vaccinations(check with your local vet), worming them ever 2-3 months, and trimming their hooves. |
