Het SDP 253 armatuur van Philips is speciaal ontworpen voor lijnverlichting. Het armatuur kan een SOX lamp van 135 of 180 watt bevatten. Er is ook een kleinere versie van dit armatuur. Lijnverlichting is erg populair in Nederland en zeker in de Randstad makkelijk te vinden als verlichting van snelwegen. Helaas worden nu veel van deze installaties vervangen door hoge palen met twee keer een SON-T lamp in de middenberm.
THe SDP 253 lantern of Philips is especially designed for Catenary (or suspention) lighting. The fixture can contain a SOX lamp of 135 or 180 watt. There is also a smaller version of this lantern. Catenary lighting is very populair in the Netherlands and is easy to find (especially in the west of the country)but is is sad to say a lof of them are already replaced by tall lampposts with twice a SON-T lantern in the mid of the road. |
