Because of the opportunities in the modern technologie as internet combined with being
a Santanafan which began in the midseventies made me choose for a Carlos Santana homepage.
During that time, Santana shared his music in the US and Europe, all over the world
actually, with other fine musicians, who made very nice music too, like:
Grand Funk, Little Feat, Osibisa, Van Morrisson, James Taylor, Dave Mason, CSNY,
Eagles, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Emerson-Lake and Palmer, Space cowboy Steve, Paul Simon and Al Jarreau.
In spite of all those fine musicians, Santana's amazing fabulous music touched me then and now.
I consider my interest in Santana's music as a hobby: concerts in the Netherlands had been visited as many as possible, any news in the media had been seen, collected or followed seriously.
My treasure albums are (oldies :) : Santana, Abraxas, Carvanserai, Inner Secrets, Welcome, Borboletta, Festival, Amigos, Moonflower.
So what more can I say, Carlos and his Santana band with their right and simple
moving music.
