Here are some wierd little tidbits that I've found out about the Sanrio company for you...
Remember Unico? Well, Sanrio no longer owns the rights to Unico. They were sold to Osamu Tezuka Productions. Aww :(
The character Coro Coro Kuririn consists of about 86 different characters.
There are some wacky Sanrio products being sold in Japan right now. Thats right, we've got Sanrio condoms, not to mention Sanrio vibrators and apparently there are also some Sanrio cigarettes on the market. Who woulda thought?
