Friends in Springfield

Carlos De Leon. He's Mexican, but he has about 10 years living here. He works as Officer in Security and Safety Department at Lincoln Land Community College. He's a good gay and helpful with every body.

Sofia Stanford. She was born in Mexico, and she's married with an american. She works as Spanish teacher and translator. If you come to Springfield, she will be like your mother.

Naomi Velazquez Greene. She was born in Mexico, but like Carlos De Leon, she has about 30 years living here. She works at St. John's Hospital, in the area of Community and Communications. She's part of Hispanic Group, and Image Group. If you will have any problem you can to tell her.

Dr. Larry Smith. A nice host (better as person) of the Sister Cities Program. He works at UIS (University of Illinois at Springfield), he's Doctor in Communication.

Victor Juarez, he is from Peru, and works in the IRS, he is President of Image Group Central Illinois Chapter, this group is trying to help to latin people with some problems: employment, education and civil rights. Also he is a member or Hispanic Group.

Dale and Karen Blankenship, they have been host family of many exchange sudents. They are a very nice family, they like to be togheter with their children Breana and Tyler. Dale likes to play golf and Karen likes to cook.

Mick Bernasek, he is a Sertoma Club member, and President of Sister Cities Program.

German Roncancio, he is from Colombia, he is President of a construction company called RC Engineers, Ltd. He is member of Hispanic Group of Springfield.
