ABOUT
US |
|
| ABOUT JEEBIE
|
She is from Mangalore, sort of
settled in Delhi. Been in Bombay for an year and a half
where she barely tolerated Mathew when they worked
together. Mathew has it from reliable sources that
Mangalorean Catholic women are of the dominating
variety, so he is forewarned. |
|
| ABOUT
MATHEW |
He is from Erumely, Central
Kerala. Been a nomad since 14, studied in Trivandrum,
migrated to Bombay looking for a living. Jeebie has
heard quite a bit about the penny-pinching, wife-beating
Syrian Catholic Christian too. This is going to be
messy. |
|
| HOW WE
MET |
| Long story there. Let's
just say it took close to 3 years of extreme threat of
violence from the other, emails and long distance calls
to make them see the truth. Over the years, we developed
a pile of common friends too - some of whom put a
shoulder to it in their own way. |
|
| WHEN WE GOT
ENGAGED |
| November 31,
2001 |
|
| HOW IT
HAPPENED |
| Right in the middle of a
tit-for-tat email session, Mathew proposed.
"Why don't we
just get married? More specifically, to each
other?"
Once Jeebie
became reasonably certain Matt was not pulling her leg,
she came around. |

Delhi
RECEPTION

Gole Dak Khana, Next to St. Columba's

|
| A LITTLE ABOUT THE D-
DAY |
| Its a small function, and
if you have received this, remember that you are an
exclusive pal.
Mathew's parents will not
be attending - oh, they will come around. Give them
time!
All you will see at the
wedding are our closest relatives and friends. Its a
catholic wedding, but it doesn't mean you have to wear
formals. Its freezing cold in Delhi, so wear whatever it
is you are comfortable in by all
means.
Alcohol will not be served
at the reception :( But don't worry, contact the best
man when elders aren't around for, er, bending the rules
of the Matrix! |
|
| DIRECTIONS - HOW TO GET
THERE |

Call up 6132510 (Jeebie's home number, and someone will
take care of you). If you know Delhi, you won't need
directions! |
