It was really good to be on the road again. After Australia and New-Zealand it is hard to be at the same place again for 6 weeks in a row.
The new trip started as soon as i got on the train. I never have conversations with unknown people in the train, only when i am travelling. I met a girl with some big bags and had a nice conversation with her. I was a traveller again!
It's just a short flight from Amsterdam to Edinburgh and a few hours later i was about to enter the arrivals hall, ready to meet up with Euan again. I hadnt seen him since december last year. Exciting.
It was very good to see him again and after some troubles with lost parkingtickets, we went through Edinburgh towards his house, just outside Edinburgh.
The first days we planned to stay around Edinburgh, because we had to take care of Dougie, the deaf dog.
