Our mega-Mitshibitsu Magna we had to return from Adelaide to Alice Springs, for free!
Magnetic Hill - Made our car drive up a hill with the engine off..magic?
Erm..watch out for kids?
Lovely Australia
Ross standing on a pole overviewing the amazing landscape
Flinders Ranges
Our campsite
Eucalytus tree at the campground in the Flinders Ranges NP
Very curious (and in the end annoying) wallabies, checking out our campsite in the morning
How sweet. Later on Ross had a little fight with this wallaby.
Here we go: finally entering The Outback!
So weird to see signs like this. Everything so far, far away. Alice Springs, just 1222km to go
On the road
Amazing view of the emptiness of the Outback of Australia.
Outback toilets
Another salt lake on the way

For hours and hours and hours and..
Impressive
Border between South Australia and Northern Territory. From here on: no speed limit!

Sunset at our arrival in Coober Pedy
Coober Pedy - The town where most people live underground cause of the extreme temperatures
Welcome to Coober Pedy
Camping underground helps protecting against rain, heat, coldness and most important of all: flies!
Our underground campground!
Underground livingroom
Coober Pedy golfcourse (and Coober Pedy humour)
Tiny Ross on top of a hill in Coober Pedy One of the many underground churches of Coober Pedy
Very beautiful sunset. Sky on fire! Start of the gravelroad right across the outback. We just did a small part of it, because we weren't allowed to go onto a gravelroad with our car. Amazing anyway!
Warning-sign you see everywhere in Coober Pedy.
The dog-fence near Coober Pedy. A 5300km long fence that prevents the dingo's from the north to use the sheep in the south as a lovely meal.
Many beautiful colours in Coober Pedy
People from Coober Pedy were excited: it was going to rain! Amazing views of clouds.
Roadtrain
I just love the sky
The MacDonnell Ranges. We were almost at our destination: Alice Springs!
