Founded in 1898 by Fr. Joseph Ciangura, first Parish Priest of Kalkara; the Confraternity of Saint Joseph is unique since it is an amalgamation, from its birth, of three Confraternities, i.e. the Confraternities of the Blessed Sacrament, of the Marian Rosary and of the patron saint of Kalkara, the Glorious Saint Joseph.
