The day the Martians landed,
In their flying ships as big as can be,
They took control of all the people,
And abducted the young and old;
But you were much too busy to notice
Because you realized I hadnt called you in an hour.
Strangely enough on that very same day,
The animals broke loose.
They attacked almost all of humanity
And the birds were so vast they blocked out the sun;
But you were too busy to even notice that the world was in darkness
Because I hadnt called you in an hour.
Oh, and did I forget to mention that on that day
The gate to the 13th dimension opened
And all the things that we never believed existed,
Like fairies, elves, unicorns, genies, and demons,
Escaped it and entered out world?
Then again, you were too busy to notice,
Since I hadnt called within an hour.
Then when humanity thought that nothing could be worse,
Hell broke loose.
We all learned that hell was both fire and ice,
And that it was true when they say that there was nothing good about it.
The dead rose from their graves,
The spirits joined the living.
Those who believed in God called out to the heavens,
Only to find out that he wasnt there.
Yet, you were to busy worrying
Because I hadnt called in an hour.
As many cried out to the sky,
They saw the stars collide with planets,
And planets colliding with the sun.
We all knew that earth was next.
So everyone (but you) screamed
And some even dug their graves.
The world was ending that day,
But you were too busy to notice,
Because I hadnt called in an hour.
