An Ode to Notre Dame

I will always remember
Noel, Dave and Dyer
Every Saturday by the sea
Meeting with Robbie, Gabie, and Andy
From all walks of life we came together
To be a scout and brother
Today our friendship still last
All the scouts of NDSS past
From humble beginnings we grew
To be the best in yellow and black, white and blue
Cake sale, bob-a-job, car wash, and the raffle
Some of the many ways we had to hustle
As a member you had to be tough
Because the leaders were rough
They loved to dish out punishment
Much to their enjoyment
And if you couldn't march in order
You had to deal with the Gorilla
Hit the gas station, hit the water
They made us suffer
All of this was in good fun
And helped us become number one
Whether band competition, rowing, swimming, pioneering
You know Notre Dame is winning
And if you ever want to stay in touch
You can always find Lutch
Notre Dame will always be in our memory
As we now celebrate our 40th anniversary
A better group you would never see
Until you joined the Notre Dame family
Lets us all continue to aspire
Our motto "Sursum Corda"
Thanks!
