I started writing poetry about this time last year. I have always loved doing arty-farty stuff.. like designing web pages and designing online greeting cards but couldn't write to save my life. Then *BAM* outta no where I suddenly sat and wrote a poem. I was stunned but not as stunned as when it was selected for printing in a Book Of Poetry. So far I have written 8 poems and have had 5 selected for print *Still recovering from the shock here*

My first poem I wrote in 5 minutes when a very very dear friend was told he again had cancer. Thankfully he beat it again :)
Since then I have found the poems I write fast, without thinking about them, have been the best. My latest achievemnet is a whole page of my poems in another poetry book.
I hope that you also enjoy reading my ramblings and are maybe encouraged to put words on paper yourself.
