Hernie D. Vann

Hernie Vann is a native Floridian, rare to find these days. He was born in Tampa, Florida where he grew up, and went to school. Hernie knew at a very early age that he had a love and talent for art. After a stint in the Coast Guard he finished college at Tampa University, and earned his Masters Degree at University of South Florida.
Hernie began his teaching career, and taught at the high school, and college level for 34 years. Even though he is retired he still teaches an adult class just for the love of it.
Hernie has participated in many art exhibits. and has won numerous awards. He is well respected in the art community for his wonderful talent.
