As promised....more pictures of the girls and their lil' horses...They even had their Uncle Charlie and Aunt Carrie doing double time the day of the birthday party! *L

Speaking of Charlie and Carrie.....
they were married July 22, 2000. Charlie is our youngest son.....this was not an easy time for his mother, for sure. *L* Charlie works with us and will soon be foreman of his own crew. Carrie is a student at Arkansas Tech University where she's majoring in medical technology. She also works part time. We're very proud of them because they both are good kids.
This past summer was devestating on our animals as well as our land. Our border collie had 8 puppies and 7 of them died one day when the temperature reached a heat index of 120. This little guy was the only survivor. For weeks we thought he might either die or have severe brain damage. But, as you can see from the 'before' and 'after' pictures, he's doing great!

For those of you who still wonder what it is we do around here for fun....*LOL*....here's
one of our 'donor' cows, Lady Cherokee. Isn't she just beautiful! She and Kathy's Phantom, our other major donor cow are the stars of our embryo program. Kathy's Phantom just returned from the University of Arkansas where she has been in the care of an embryologist. Her doctor cost more than my gynecologist. *LOL* And, (hoping not to bore you to tears) here's another shot of our farm.

And, an ice leaf! Isn't it just beautiful. Katie found this on our front porch.

The Memorial for the children and adults who were killed in the Oklahoma City bombing. Coming from Oklahoma,
this tragedy touched me deeply and the anger I still feel towards those people who would intentionally kill and maime children can only be tempered by the knowledge that God reminds me daily in His word that vengence is His and He will repay.
