I love this picture because this bed is an original piece owned by the family. It was in one of their other houses. The picture on the bed is of the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina. That's not far from where I live. Their family owned a house in Flat Rock, NC.
Magnolia Gardens are recognized worldwide as the most beautiful informal gardens in the world. They live up to their name. The owner of the plantation planted them for his wife, who was from the north. She wasn't happy in the south, so he planted these gardens to make her feel better, so she would have a place to relax and enjoy their beauty.
