That said, the ET chain is still growing. Teachers are still coming, and the dreaded text book is about to go into a second print. The following is taken from a thread on eslcafe re: the infamous ET coursebooks (now about to go into a second edition). When the books were first introduced, there was a massive outcry over the quality (or lack thereof). Students hated them, teachers claimed. ET teachers would be leaving en masse because of them, others cried. If ever one thing united the teachers of ET together, it is this pure, intense hatred of the in-house textbooks. Which the teachers produced....

They really are from the new ET coursebook and I suspect that you and I are not the only ones who are asking the same question, what the * beep* do these examples have to do with the passive?
