Fethiye is one of the must-do pit stops on your vacation around the Turkish Mediterranean. It is a stone's throw from Oludeniz; in fact, it is exactly where you would want to stay when you visit Oludeniz because, as much as I love it, Oludeniz is a beach town with not a whole lot else to do. Fethiye is much more interesting - it has a greater variety of places to eat, boat trips to take, etc. There are so many inexpensive places to stay. I stayed at some guest house overlooking the bay - Ferrah's guest house. Great prices. Lots of cats. Friendly people. Go there. It's worth it. Check out this site. |

One of the Blue Voyages day boat trips I took. The water was beautiful, and the trip was absolutely worth it. Note: those of you born and raised on the Great Lakes - CLOSE your eyes before jumping into the sea. Trust me. |
