| (June 10, 2000) Rand wrote to share the following: "I have more good playwriting news to share as well. In January I wrote a one-act play called "Jocelyn's World." It's a science fiction/satire sort of thing. A high school student (Jocelyn) is applying to become Earth's first inter-planetary foreign exchange student.... Anyway, I've been sending the play around a bit, and yesterday I got a letter from Eldridge Plays and Musicals. They are going to publish the play. So...I am very happy right now."
