| Surveyed and photographed April 15, 2003. There are 17 marked interments and 6 unmarked slabs. First known burial was 1903 and the last in 1994. In 1996 a survey was performed and two of those headstones no longer exist. This little cemetery was originally referred to as the Smith Family Cemetery by the Catholic Arch Dioese of Mobile. Local residents refer to it now as the Churchman Cemetery. The site has been desecrated. There are bones scattered over the woods. |
