My Fish
They're not the greatest pictures... Fish can be very difficult subjects to photograph. Ugh!
This is a new picture of Val.
(The fish formerly known as Hal.) LOL
He recently showed me he's a female by laying about a hundred eggs.

She was a good mother...
Standing guard over them... watching them...protecting them from the other fish...
....Until......
She ate all the eggs up! LOL

(In her defense, I didn't have a male to fertilize them for her.) : )
This is my really cool Synodontis catfish.
He's about 8" long.

He's especially hard to photograph.
He will not stay still except for when he's inside his hiding place or behind a plant or a rock!. Grrr

*Disclaimer: I call him "he" but of course, he could be a "she". lol
This is my new baby!
She's a Green Severum.
This picture doesn't do her justice... She's really quite beautiful and colorful.
She's very shy and was frightend by the camera.
She's only about 3", but she'll grow!
I love having fish. I have 2 fish tanks. I started out with a 30 gallon, then  added a 55 gallon.  Aside from these 3 fish I have 1 Festivum, 2 Corydoras catfish, and 3 African Chiclids. 2 are Lemon Yellow and the third I forget the name but he's black and yellow striped and reminds me of a bulldog. He's a real brute with an underbite. lol
That's it for now!
