This is the page with tidbits about me (aside from when I'm playing Ratchet & Clank and other games) and the history of the site.
I started the page Dec. 27 of 2002 while in the midst of playing Ratchet & Clank. When I discovered that there were no fansites and no fanworks available on the Internet, I thought, 'Hey, I'll bet I could make a good site!' And thus was born this page. It is the first of its kind: the first fanpage made exclusively by one small little girl. Sure, the big companies beat me to making fancy pages all done up in Java and Flash and other programs, but this is the first unofficial page. I have bragging rights!
Who am I? Well, my real name's Kristi, but I go by a lot of things. Right now I use Sandy87 most of the time. IRL, people call me Kristi or Kristina, so any of those work. I might respond to K-chan, if I'm in a Japanese-y mood and I know you're talking to me. Don't use it the first time you talk to me, though. I'll think you're rude.
My birthday is February 5th, 1987. You can calculate my age yourself. I assume if you're here, then you can read and do basic math. If not, well, ask that person next to you. I'm sure they'll help. Whether or not they'll tease you I can't say.
Yes, I can get a little mean and sarcastic. Don't worry, though; it doesn't mean I hate you. Normally it's just silliness that gets out of hand.
What do I look like? Well, I'm around five and a half feet tall, give or take, and I weigh anywhere between 120 and 130 lbs. (it fluctuates, but the norm is 125). I'm happy this year, as my "back-to-school-gain" has not put me up over 130 again. I'm not anorexic or anything, though, despite the fact that I eat almost nothing outside of school days. A summer day will find me waking up and eating around 10:30 or 11:00 AM and then supper at 7:00 or so, then staying up until three and four in the morning. It's just that without anything strenuous (mentally or physically), I don't need extra energy. I eat normal on school days and Sundays. I also have this really, really long brown hair. I can sit on it! Barely. It's kinda messy, too. Don't tell anyone this, but I've been known to skip two or three days of brushing. It doesn't hurt. My hair's still fairly neat, it just looks an inch or two shorter and wavier. It's not perfectly straight, even right after I shower and brush it real good, but it turns extra-wavy then. It's also fairly soft for about two hours in the morning if I take a shower at night and sleep with it in a towel (then it goes back to semi-coarse). I like it. I've also got green eyes, which I think is cool. Yes, I've got a bit of that green-eyed temper, but don't worry, I don't normally bite. If I do, then I must be PMSing! Did I actually just say that? Well, whatever. Green-eyed people are cool. :P
I currently live in southeastern Texas, just northwest of Houston. That's in the US, if you didn't know. I'm graduating early, and I've decided to go to a Jr. College for a year and then transfer down to A&M at Galveston to study marine biology. I'll just do art on the side, as I'm not one for being told what and when and how to draw something.
Did I mention I have pets? That's right; I have pets. Seven of them, to be exact. There's my big dog Sandy who lives in the house. Then there's Lassie and her babies Buster, Jack, and Princess who live outside. I have a cat named Domino and one named Tiger. He's sick. We think he had a heartworm in his brain. He does okay, except that his head is cocky and he walks in circles a lot of the time. He's happy, though. He purrs and bathes and eats and uses the litter box.
Before anyone asks: Do I like music? Yes. What kinds? Oldies, country, soft rock, basically anything that isn't rap or heavy metal. Who's your favorite singer/group? No one. I think they're all overpaid, immodest bozos. Yup. That's what I think. All that money and they can't buy half a shirt! I seriously do not have a 'favorite'. What's your favorite song? Again, no real choice. I like a lot of songs. 'Complicated', 'Why Not Me?', 'Red Rubber Ball' (old song), anim theme songs in Japanese (sometimes the English version is okay, too), um...the little dolphin noises on my Angels of the Sea CD. Lots of songs.
Yes, I like to sing. I was in chior at school for three years. I also draw, but you knew that. I have a range of about low F (below the Treble clef) to high C (two ledger lines above the staff). Now, if I strain really, really hard, I can probably get a note or two lower and higher (I know I can hit a high E), but it gets ugly. Yes, I'm proud of my voice. Just don't expect me to talk too much unless I get hyper. Then, LOOK OUT! LOL.
Anim? Yup. I like anim. Pokmon was my first, and I still watch it. No, wait, I take that back. I saw the old Speed Racer (where he had black hair and Spritel had a monkey called Chim-chim) before that when I was really little. I've also seen the first two and a half seasons of Digimon, but I got lost somewhere in the third season. I've seen all of G Gundam and Zoids (both Chaotic Century and the one with Bit Cloud and Liger0) and a lot of Tenchi Muyo. I think I've seen most of Yu-Gi-Oh!, too. Yellow-green-orange! Sorry, inside joke. I also watch Dragonball and DragonballZ every once in a while, like when it's not reruns (the movies Toonami shows on Fridays now have some lovely background music). Sometimes I stay up and catch 'Inuyasha', though I must say I much prefer the episodes centered around Kagome and Inuyasha's relationship to fighting. I only get to watch dubs, but that's okay. I don't want all the gross things in the orrigionals anyway. Sure, some of the dubbing's bad (like when guys have their hands cocked and nothing in them because the dubbers edited the guns out), but I like it.
Of course, most anim fans also creat fanworks. I certainly do. Too much, in fact. I have a million half-written fics. I normally finish my art, though. I've gotten pretty good. I enjoy writing, but it just takes so long. The only good, solid list of stories by me is my set of Jak and Daxter shorties on Fanfiction.net. They're all under 4,000 words.
Claims to fame:
Geez, I ramble. Oh, well. I type more than I talk. I bet you're sick of hearing about me, huh? Well, alright, you can go home.
Or, should you care to, you can take a look at the results of a personality quiz I took! Be warned, though, it's long!
