A very chibi Ratchet meets Vel for the first time. They ran into each other...literally. That's what's up with the funny expressions. They're supposed to be, like, I dunno, four here. They look that young to you? Before anyone yells at me: no, I did not forget their stripes! I left them off on purpose! See, I was looking through the sketchbook that you get for having 15 skillpoints and I came across their cover concept. Ratchet looked a bit younger there, and he didn't have the stripes, so I decided to use the same concept. So there. No missing stripes. Also, check out what Vel's wearing: a skort. I thought it'd be fitting. Her tail looks a bit stiff, though. But look at her hair! It's in PIGTAILS! Of course, if you looked at her from the front it'd probably be pretty cool-looking, like a butterfly or something. Oh, well, enjoy the cuteness.
