Probably one of the most controversial characters in Going Commando: Was something up between her and Ratchet? (her non-returning-ness kills chances of anything continuing, but that's not to say there wasn't something in Going Commando) Why does she act so very different and viciously uncarring as her alternate identity, the thief? She's also pretty unpopular with the fanbase (ask anyone what they think of her, and at least 75% will say they don't like her). There have even been rumors that Insomniac doesn't like her, LOL!

A former Megacorp. employee, Angela Cross was one of the leading geneticists working on the Protopet Project. However, when the unfinished and very dangerous creature was scheduled for release too soon, she was out of work. To prevent the Protopet from being sold, she took on the identity of a very male-looking and -sounding thief and stole it from her former employer. It is unknown if she received her job back when all was said and done.

As a bit of background info never released in the game, but garnered through other unofficial-but-highly-reliable sources, Angela is not the same subspecies of lombax as Ratchet. Her home planet is not Greblin (she merely calls it that because that's where she lives at the present); it is Frosca (Insomniac now says the name is Dangara), a planet in the same solar system as Veldin but much farther from the sun. Most of the lombaxes there are white (she's got a recessive/mutated gene or something), so she left the planet because the large dinosaurs there hunted lombaxes, and quite frankly, she stuck out. She's a normal height for a Froscan lombax as well, oweing to the smaller amount of gravity (that also explains a bit of her clutziness, as the extra gravitational pull would make it difficult to walk).
