Fur

Heh, it's a fuzzball. And a fuzzy one at that! Gomen. Had to get some fur jokes outta my system. Anyway, this is my take on his fur paterns. I noticed the stripes seemed to come in sets of three, so I drew it that way (I think there's three stripes along the back of his head, but you can't see that here). The yellow on the tops of his feet goes up his legs a little ways, but I decided it wouldn't go up all the way because there's no pale coloration on his arms. Then there's also that patch of lighter fur on the back of his hands based on that. I also thought he looked bald without a tuft of hair on his head, heh heh. I figgured out that if I mixed the bronze yellow with my golden yellow, I make a color pretty close to his real fur color. Even the bottoms of his feet are furry - an adaptation for walking on hot Veldinian sand. Notice how you can't see quite as much muscle definition through the fur. The same is true of real animals.
