Sandy on Sandy
Sandy's Teaching Objectives and Methodology
Sandy on Sandy before Teaching Practice:
~ With low self-esteem, always needs encouragement before speaking up in front of others.
~ Friendship is the most important thing among her businesses. Without friends, as lonely as a little kitten in a dark alley.
~ God is the driver of the journey of life. Everything is decided by Him and so nothing to worry about.
~ Her aim is to live in God and praise Him for her whole life.
Sandy on Sandy after the First Teaching Practice:
~ With even poorer understanding about herself.
~ Can speak up now when she sees the need to do so.
Sandy's Teaching Philosophy before Teaching Practice:
~ To discover students' need, strengths and weaknesses, if possible, and taught them English in ways that fit them in general.
~ To teach students how to learn English, rather than making them memorize everything without real understanding.
~ To love students without bias; to appreciate their merits and to encourage them to get rid of their demerits.
~ To be students' trustworthy teacher and friend.
Sandy's Teaching Philosophy after the First Teaching Practice:
~ She has actually become quite lost in her goal and philosophy...
~ "Am I sensitive enough to understand students' needs?" She thought.
Sandy's Teaching Obejectives and Methodology before Teaching Practice:
Sandy's Teaching Obejectives and Methodology after the First Teaching Practice:
~ My teaching methodology is...actually no fixed method...I want to be learner-oriented and be flexible enough to adopt whatever method that suits my students' abilities and needs, no matter it is lecturing or activity approach (within the boundary of my school culture, certainly).
