Glenn Sanders' Ancestry
Originating out of Montgomery County, Virginia in the early 1800s; into Clark County, Ohio in 1820; Henry County, Indiana 1831; my branch moved into Hodgeman County, Kansas in the late 1800's and finally Colorado in 1889. There are still a bunch of Sanders in Henry County Indiana who are members of this tribe.

Another Virginia SAUNDERS family
The family that I suspect I can tie my line into. Includes the Hyde/Saunders branch. References I have found on this family include: Wingfield's Pioneer Families of Franklin Count y (Virginia) , Saunders Family in theWilliam and Mary College Quarterly, and Early Settlers of Alabama by Col. James Edmonds Saunders. Of course, all of these sources disagree in some respects.
Don Schaefer's Sanders Family
This line, traced back to Isle of Wight Co., Va., moved to Randolph Co., N.C. in 1784 and on to Jackson Co., Ala., in 1820. Included are many other related lines in Jackson Co., Ala. My branch (Benjamin Van Buren Sanders) moved to Texas Co, Mo., in 1879 and on to Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory (now LeFlore Co., Okla.) in 1890. Many other Sanders families moved from Jackson Co., Ala., to Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
