Emily

Emily and I went to Florence to test out a re-built engine.  The original one was either a 1500cc or 1600cc engine.  Bob at Kustom Kreations re-built the engine to be 1835cc.
Bob also added a cage around the engine and installed a new hydraulic pedal assembly.

Although I was very excited about the prospect of "more power", we were quite
disappointed.  It ran well and sounded fine, but it did very poorly on the hills.   It
was worse than it had been before.  I was upset.  After we got back home, I found
out that someone at the shop had thought it would be a good idea to put some air in
my tires.  They set all of the tires to 16 pounds.  I had been running 6 pounds.
The result was that we just cut into the sand.

I took the rail to the dunes about two weeks later and it did very well.
"WOW!"  would be a good way to put it!
