| We have always wanted our own home with lots of acreage. A place where we could not only live, but breed, raise, train and show our favorite breeds of horses We also wanted a place where we could entertain our family and friends with casual dinners, festive hoilday parties and even equestrian type BBQs, playdays, & trail rides |
| Home & Horses: |
| Living in central Alabama presents us with two problems: tornados and a long hot and humid season. Because of this we have decided that if at all possible we will build an Underground Home. Research has taught us that these homes are energy efficent, a great place to be in tornado season and come in many lovely styles and floor plans! |

| We have always wanted to have our horses where we could look out the window and see them. To enjoy, at any time of the day, watching a foal at play. To see our horses interacting with one another, and running and playing for the sheer joy of being alive, is something we look forward to! We can finally raise and keep a stallion (or 2) should we choose to do so. No more worrying if the horses are okay during a bad storm. No more worrying about the horses having enough water and hay when the roads have been closed because of ice or snow. We will be able to simply walk out the door and over the the stable to check on them and take care of them! It will be wonderful to finally be able to take advantage of any good Equine deal and opportunity that happens along! |
