Running Time - 30 minutes

 

Setting - An apartment. The present.

 

Characters – 2 Male, 1 Female

 

       Packard – A lazy writer, 20s or 30s, male.

 

       Damon – Male, any age, an imp who is posing as a muse.

 

       Woman/Calliope – 20s or 30s, female, a sexy ditz and a sensuous Greek muse.

 

Synopsis—Packard, a no name writer, wakes up with a hangover and with Damon sitting on his chest. Damon tells him that he has come to act as Packard’s muse. He cons Packard into signing a six-month contract and proceeds to badger him until he finishes a novel. The gig is up, however, when Calliope appears and reveals Damon’s true identity and motives and helps Packard understand that his art comes only from himself.
