Computer Availabilty?
If you have a computer at home, please follow the suggested links on the left side of the page and search for the Switchboard of Miami, and Children and Family Services, Miami, Florida
Please use the resource list available for you (if you do not have access to a computer)
to obtain and list requested services. The resource list
may be requested in the Student Services Department, Dr. Sandra Billingslea's office, from the Switchboard of Miami and Barry University. Please, submit your log sheet to Dr. Billingslea.
Groups are held every Thursday in Family and Consumer Science during 3rd Period.
BEE Club (Building Eager Esteem) meetings will be held on Wednesday. A regular schedule will be given to you.
All group and club members will be required to obtain resources from assigned web sites.
We do not have access to computers and the computer lab will be used for pre/post testing. Therefore, Dr. Billingslea will provide each student with a copy of anticipated services that you might request such as: medicaid, food stamps, child support, housing resources, family and individual counseling.
Each student will be required to keep a log with all contacts. (Telephone, internet, personal).
If you have any further questions, please call Dr. Sandra Billingslea at (305)233-1044. You may also complete a referral from your homeroom teacher. A follow-up appointment will be given to you to provide all needed or necessary services.
My office hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am until 4:05am.
