| It seems most of the people I've come in contact with throughout my many travels I've lost touch with. I've gone to MANY different schools throught my life, and made many wonderful friends. I wish it was easier to keep in touch over the years, but I know we each go on with our lives, and we grow apart as we move on to new challenges and situations. I hope all whom I've come in contact with over the years who've touched my heart are doing well... I love you all! Sign-up at www.graduates.com to stay in touch with friends! ***************************************** My family is in Washington, while I'm in Georgia - so I don't get to see them very much, we keep in touch via telephone and e-mail. I am very close to my family, and it's hard being so far away! I have had a few visits from family members, which I'm very thanful for, and we are planning a trip to Washington in December 2005! My husbands immediate family resides in Georgia, so we are least pretty close to most of them. It's been great to have his parents, sisters, and grandparents so close by! |

| I enjoy reading, and also writing short stories or poetry when I get the chance. I'm a very social person and really enjoy getting out for dancing, or coffee, or even for a walk around town. I work full time so I don't have a whole lot of free time like I did when I was a stay at home mom, so I don't spend as much time online as I used to. I still try to find time to e-mail family and friends, and I have met some wonderful friends online. My husband and I enjoy spending time together at home most evenings, we have dinner, watch some TV, and off to bed! On the weekends, we like to get out occassionaly for shopping and Starbucks and get-togethers with friends. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A little about me... I have lead a wild and wonderfully crazy life. So many times I think I should write a book about it all, but I don't know that I have the patience to sit down and put all my thoughts onto paper! To start somewhere near the beginning, I grew up moving a lot. As of the age 15 I had moved well over 40 times and half way through my 9th grade year of highschool we ended up at Dakar Academy in Senegal, West Africa. That is where my life really seemed to begin. I really feel that I found myself there, or at least started to! I met my future husband at the beginning of my 10th grade year, we were good friends that year, and then somehow we fell madly in love at the beginning of the next school year... it was an amazing feeling to see him for the first time after a summer break and feel completely and utterly attracted to him! It snowballed from there. We were wed within a week of the end of our 11th grade year. We travelled back to the states to complete highschool, our son was born in November of '98, and the following summer, after graduation, we moved off to Jackson, TN. Kenneth attended Union University there for a few short months before joining the Marine Corps! We then spent 4 years in sunny California, stationed at Camp Pendleton. In September 2003 I underwent Gastric Bypass Surgery, and just one month later we packed up and moved to Georgia! We stayed with Kenneth's very generous grandmother for about 6 months before buying our very first home! We are now living in the country, and love our house. I work full time in Atlanta (so I have a long commute every day), and Kenneth is working part time at Home Depot and going to school full time at Kennesaw State University I love my husband and my son, and though I won't lie and say it's been an easy ride, I am thankful for each day with my boys, and thankful for each learning experience we've come through together as a family. |
