| I was a true follower of this magificent lady. From the time she was dating Prince Charles, their engagement and their wedding .Glued to the television watching this fairy tale wedding. Amazed of the people in attendance and feeling very jelous . This is as close as i will get to royalty. After the wedding they didnt seem to hit headline news until Diana was in labour with her first born son. Then not again til her 2nd son was born. One of my best girl friends that i went to school with Lynne, was hired by a newspaper in a city . The newspaper sent her to attend many royalty functions to take pictures. I was so jelous. But very happy for her as this was her calling. We talked often about the royal family but always more about Diana than any of them. I watched and heard the news how Diana's and Charles's marriage was disolving . After their seperation, Lady Diana continued with her royal duties. She was even more so in the light and really enjoying it. How the poperozie took advantage of her and her family as they tried to lead a normal life. The children always had a body gaurd. No longer was i jelous and wanting to trade places with them. I was worried about Lynne and hoping she did not get hurt while taking pictures of the royal family. I never considered Lynne to be popperozie. Lynne phoned me one morning. Thru the tears and trembling voice she told me to turn on the tv. Somthing terrible had happened to Lady Diana. As i sat infront of my tv i felt the pain, the anguish and hope that Lady Diana would be fine after that terrible car crash. As many others in the world were doing exactly the same thing at that exact time. It was not to be thu. The funeral of this lady was watched by millions. I videotaped it and put it in a safe. Lady Diana had made her mark on earth. The compassion and generosity had never been done by anyone before. She was truly unique. I know i am one of millions that adored her and cherish the projects she did accomplish while she was on earth for such a short period of time. Noone will ever take her place. She is extremely missed!!!!!! |
