Nightstalker prowls in the darkness, staring at Mantis while he disobeys direct orders from Lord Sukinahito by leaving the grounds of Fitstral. Looking very suspiciously as he advances away from the tiny village, Damien follows him to see where he�s going, heading North-West, back into the direction from where they�ve departed from due to the Shadow Clan�s attack on the, the very attack that took three innocent lives. Three mantis clan members died that day, and now today he catches Mantis heading back into that direction under the moonlight cascading from the heavens. Nightstalker � And where the hell do you think you�re going??? Damien softly pronounces from a tree branch up high, looking down at Mantis as he stops walking to gently cackle underneath his breath. When Mantis turns his head to look up at the tree branch that Damien was just standing on, his fake smile fades off of his face to realize that his former student is not up in that tree. Blinking his eyes, Mantis wonders about Nightstalker�s blessed speed, pondering what Sukinahito gave him for a fresh ability. Still unsure of the answer to such a question� Mantis � I see, you wish to play hide and seek�huh??? Nightstalker � I�m finished playing your games, Mantis� Mantis spins around after hearing that directly behind him, only to stare off at the few tree�s and empty grass plains before him. Blinking again in confusion, Mantis figures to himself concerning Damien�s newfound immortality, Mantis grins and nods his head before looking down at the grass at his feet. This interaction with Damien constantly reminding him of himself back in the day when he was blessed with such power. He also got cocky, and the ending result to such an ordeal was capitalizing. Mantis � Well, at least have the decency to speak with me to my face. �Silence outside of the wind gusting through the tall grass� Nightstalker � Where you going? Lord Sukinahito told you to stay. �Mantis� grin never disappears from his facial expression� Mantis � He�s not exactly here to reinforce that now�is he??? �Nightstalker narrows his eyes at him from afar� Mantis � What Sukinahito doesn�t know, won�t hurt him. Now, go back to your ignorant little girlfriend and play with your happy little mixed race family. I have no further time to potty train a sniveling brat like you anymore. That�s why Sukinahito took you from me�so he can train you, so he can teach you discipline. �Nightstalker walks toward Mantis, clenching his hands into fists� Nightstalker � Apparently our Master never taught you �Respect�� Mantis - You�think�that just because Lord Sukinahito is teaching you�that�you�re on MY Level!? You still have a long way to go�Damien�you�d be smart to remember that I have over five hundred years of martial arts experience over you. Nightstalker � I�m ten times better than you�ll ever become, Mantis. �Mantis quirks a brow at Nightstalker, he inhales heavily� Mantis � Would you like to put some gold where your mouth is??? Without taking too long, Damien figures that Mantis could be right for a change. He contemplates the difference between losing gold if Mantis did happen to defeat him in a sparring match turned bad. He thinks of the last time he ran into Mantis, back when Faye was with him�they had fought Mantis in a handicap situation and he had still held his own. Now, Faye is an excellent fighter just as he is�and for Mantis to have the skill to take them both on, in a two on one situation??? Damien shakes his head. Nightstalker � I don�t need to bet to KNOW what I�m capable of� Mantis � Ah, but your foolish mind has lead you to believe that your capabilities are all positive AND could NEVER have a negative outcome. You�re capable all right; you�re capable of getting your ass kicked worse than you�re capable of kicking mine, kid. �Mantis cracks his neck by tilting it to the left than right� Mantis - You still have a long road to ruin, child. Don�t get cocky the way I did back when I was your age�that�s when I made MY mistake. Don�t follow in my footsteps. As good as you are Damien, you aren�t good enough to live my life. �Nightstalker gets within� a few feet of distance near Mantis� Nightstalker � You talk too much�why is that? To me it sounds like you�re trying to avoid a confrontation with me�based on the fact that you witnessed Lord Sukinahito�s actions of blessing me with immortality. It�s as if you feel the power surging through my veins and deep down inside of that hollow shell you call �a chest� of yours�you fear what I have become. Is that why you test your limits by running your mouth instead of answering my question in the first place? Where are you going??? Mantis � Where I go is none of your concern�I go where I please� Nightstalker � Not when Lord Sukinahito says you don�t� �Mantis starts walking large circles around Damien Draven� Mantis � Ah, so it all comes out�huh??? What are you, Sukinahito�s new lapdog? Do you actually believe that you have what it takes to stop me from going�and�doing whatever I want, Damien? Heh, especially�when you don�t have the speed�to run in my footprints??? Nightstalker � I stopped you from going anywhere now, haven�t I? Mantis frowns at Damien, only to receive a half smirk from his former apprentice. Draven stands still, fearless of getting attacked from behind�as Mantis continues to walk circles around him, staring at him throughout the entire duration of this conversation. Mantis � If it weren�t for you�Lord Vain wouldn�t have stopped me from going to Yuku Haru�if you wouldn�t have slowed me down, I could have gotten Tokachi Shoudashi�Moku back into the Mantis Clan�do you have ANY idea of what an ordeal that would have lifted from Lord Sukinahito�s shoulders!? I don�t think you could fathom the idea, little alone know how much Sukinahito has on his plate at the moment. �Damien Draven blinks, looking down at the ground curiously� Nightstalker � That�s clearly false, Mantis. You wished to use Faye and I as puppets, as fucking decoys for your own sick and twisted amusement. Now, if what you say is true then how come you would have needed my girlfriend and I to do such a thing??? I thought you were a big man and could accomplish whatever on your own??? Like you claim you do� Mantis � How dare you� Nightstalker � How Dare I!? HOW DARE YOU!!! Damien spins around after hearing the shuffling of Mantis� feet coming to a stop behind him. Glaring deep into the dark Andin eyes of Mantis, narrowing and squinting their eyes at one another, showing equal hatred for one another at the moment. Nightstalker � YOU were the one that ran away from our homeland to leave YOUR clan behind, to PERISH!!! And yet�you talk all highly of yourself�telling me how I couldn�t walk one day in your shoes�or a variation of such a meaning, don�t try to twist my words to confuse or throw me off the subject Mantis, I�ve HAD ENOUGH of your bullshit�you ARE going to tell me where you�re going or I WILL follow you!!! �Mantis� expression cannot be seen behind the dark colored mask� Mantis � Again, where I go is wherever I desire�follow me if you will, you�ll only be filling that ignorant girlfriend�s head of yours with thoughts of your death or your betrayal if you do not return to her. You know how she gets when you aren�t there�waiting on her every beckoning command like the dog you are. �Damien starts pondering if getting this information is worth it� Mantis � You know how she�ll worry for you during your absence oh god forbid�You�re out here WITH ME�heh, heh�I can play this game all day Damien, I can mislead you to places that you wouldn�t believe was the purpose of my departure, my destination marker will never be revealed to you solemnly based on the fact that you don�t have the patience to outlast every move I make. Don�t waste your time now. Mantis continues walking, but now away from Damien instead of in the circles around him. Nightstalker sighs than shakes his head and reaches his left hand out, he grabs Mantis� arm�refusing to let him go. Mantis�s body revolts to the hand grasping onto his arm and he stops walking away to turn his attention back and down at Damien�s hand. Mantis silently stares down at Damien�s hand for a moment before looking up and into his eyes. To stare into the eyes of his former master, Damien slowly shakes his head from one side and to the other before releasing his grasp on Mantis� arm. Nightstalker � Forget it, Mantis. I do not wish to become any further of a burden on the shoulders of our Lord. You walk any further�you�re on your own. Just remember that I will not be there to save your ass from Lord Vain a second time. Mantis goes silent and the wind gusting, lifting leaves and tussling through tree tops, the sounds of nature taking over. Mantis blinks at Damien for he didn�t expect for him to respond in such a manner�but then Mantis grins, the crease in his face mask revealing that much detail. Mantis � Fuck Lord Vain�Don�t worry about me� �Mantis starts walking away again and Damien stands still� Nightstalker � Can you at least tell me where you�re going??? Mantis � Tell Syn that I�ve departed in search for Monique Swane�I�ve got a few things to discuss with the face of Overlook. I should be back before Lord Sukinahito returns, don�t lose sleep over the thought of me. I�ll be fine. Damien watches at Mantis continues walking away, just picking up speed, with Haste he disappears from Draven�s sight and toward the mountain-like spiral way off in the distance. Lowering his head, Damien rubs the back of his neck before turning and re-entering Fitstral. Watching as Kyren sits at the campfire, telling ghost stories to the Centaloris girls. A small half smile comes to Damien�s face, to hide the fact of Mantis� departure from Fitstral during he absence of Linca and Sukinahito. Callisto Draven � Damien�? It�s an honor to finally meet you, cousin. Looking to his left and at his cousin, Callisto�he smiles and opens his arms toward her. Callisto steps into Damien�s arms and he hugs her. Faye watches with a smile for Callisto left her side to give her only surviving family member a hug. The hug breaks and Callisto kisses Damien on the cheek to add as a compliment. Nightstalker � I�m happy to have you by my side, Callisto. Faye Valentine � Hey babe, where did you go??? Nightstalker � Just out to clear my head�there�s a lot going on� Callisto Draven � Yeah, I hear that. I woke up and Tommy was gone. I hope he�s ok. I hope nothing bad happens to his face, he�s too cute to be disfigured!!! Faye slowly nods her head at Damien, blinking her eyes, she snuggles up against him than snaps her attention to Callisto after hearing the name �Tommy�. Damien looks from Callisto to Faye while rolling his eyes a bit. Callisto�s face is blush-red after making such a remark about one of Faye�s former sparring partners back in the day. Faye Valentine � Did you just say Tommy�as in�Tommy Shen? Callisto Draven � Yeah! That�s him! He found me during my travels out there�my feet hurt so much. He�s so sweet. He picked me him and carried me on his back�I�ve never moved so fast before in my LIFE!!! It was totally awesome! You know him, Faye? �Faye slowly nods her head while having memories rush over her� Faye Valentine � Yes, all too well. He was the best student in the Murder Squad. We sparred together for years before our Master was assassinated. That�s around the time when Linca took me on as a student and Tommy ended up staying behind when Linca was forced to take whom she could to flee from the Andin Islands. Tommy�s alive and well you say??? He must have accompanied Sukinahito and Linca to Iviastara. Nightstalker � I have no clue who you two are talking about� Callisto Draven � OH!!! Tommy is the coolest!!! Faye Valentine � Tommy Shen. One of the original Murder Squad Members from back in the day. By rights, he would be the Murder Squad Master if only Sato Konji steps down�or is promoted to another squad, I suppose. You�ll get along with Tommy, baby�He�s very respectful and he doesn�t talk a lot... Callisto Draven � Don�t forget to mention�he�s HOT!!! Callisto melts, fluttering her arms about, day dreaming of him. Faye waves her hand in front of Callisto�s face a couple of times�to still witness how her eyes don�t move during her hand movements. She continues to stare up at the sky, like a lovesick teenager. Faye smirks back at Damien then starts snapping her fingers in Callisto�s face. A few more snaps and Callisto blinks, shaking her head and looking back at Faye and Damien again with a dumbfounded expression on her face, as if she had just woke up from a wonderful dream concerning the likes of Tommy Shen. Callisto Draven � Good looks and a great attitude�mmmm�you don�t find that in very many men now-a-days. I think I�m in love with him!!! I really do! Faye Valentine � You�ve known him for about twenty-four hours, Callisto�hahaha�you�re not in love. Trust me�you�ve just got a REALLY big crush on him. Nightstalker � Right�Well...I�ve got some greetings to make with the others. Would you two like to join me??? Faye Valentine � Sure, let�s go. Damien nods and Faye nods as well. They turn and walk toward one of the huts here in Fitstral, looking to get acquainted with those whom he�s never met before�like Kentai, Maigo, upon many others. As Faye and Damien walk away, Callisto snaps out of her daze once more�another happy little spell when her mind targets Tommy Shen. She blinks and looks around frantically before spotting Faye and Damien walking away. Callisto Draven � Hey!!! Wait for me!!! �Faye giggles and Damien smirks as Callisto runs to catch up�
