The sun falling behind the mountains here on the Andin Islands. The scenery is beautiful, erotic flowers growing on trees and sweet whispers of the wind passing through. In the Mantis Dojo, Damien Draven kneels deep in meditation. Its the scream of a young girl that snaps him out of his peaceful state of mind. His eyes widening, he stands to the sounds of chaos breaking free just outside. Getting to the paper sliding door, he opens it in time to spot the once beautiful place tainted in blood, buildings ablazeVampireseverywhere, biting his people, killing them all.

Nightstalker NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reaching up over his shoulders, he grabs the hilts of both katana blades while making his exit from the Mantis Dojo. Pulling both blades from their sheaths, Damien runs up in a dashcoming to a stop as his feet skid amongst the dirt. Slash, Slash slash slash slash, one vampire drops after Damien released one of his katana blades in the heart of its chest. Defending himself from another vampire with one katana blade, giving the silver its chance of eating away at the first vampires heart.

Nightstalker You Bastards Wont take me alive.

Blinking his eyes, he hears Fayes voice as she negotiates an assassination hit with a bar tender over by the bar as he sits there at a table, cleaning his katana blade. Glancing over toward Faye again, he watches her work as she uses her goods for manipulation to boost up the amount of gold that the bar tender is willing to give for this important assassination attempt. One, that usually ends up for the worst for when its concerning the likes of Genesis leader and its most skilled assassin.

Poison Look at these, Yeahyou like these, dont you?

Cupping her hands underneath her breasts as the filthy man of a bar tender behind the bar continues to stare down at them. A faint smirk draws across Fayes face as she continues to talk him into raising his price. The man raises the price from 1,500 goldto 2,500 in the matter of ten minutes worth of manipulating from Poison.

Poison Come onIf these are Vampires? You need to pay more money.

Damiens eyes turn from watching the filthy man behind the bar, making sure that he doesnt try to lay even a finger on her. Damiens eyes glance back down to his exposed blade that he has outcleansing for a shine. Knowing that if Faye wanted to kill the guy, she would do it herself. Looking at his blade again brings him back to that distant memory he had when he came face to face withthatvampire.

Nightstalker Why do you attack my village?

Syn BecauseIts not your village anymore. Its mine.

Frowning at Syn, Damien readies himself for further combat

Nightstalker Im going to make you regretsaying that

The large vampire before him cackles mockingly in response

Syn You cannot defeat me, Child. Youre best off fleeing while you can

Nightstalker Never

Remembering bits and pieces of that fight that engaged between himself and that large vampric bastard. Damiens eyes search for details from his memory bank but he can only draw forward the fact that he got his ass handed to him. The first time hes ever been defeated in battle and little alone, it was by a vampire. That Vampire wasnt like the rest of the ones that he had killed with quick wits and utter ease.

Poison Oh, I get it. Now, you want a piece of my ass for 3 thou?

Averting his attention over to where Faye is having difficulty with this brute of a bar tender. Faye shakes her head at the guy, then slams her hand down onto the bar top before glaring at the disgusting son of a bitch thats trying to get laid.

Poison You can go FUCK yourself at that price, bub! If you want this problem to be taken care of? Then do it yourselfyou fucking pigI hope those vampires find you in here holding a spatula and a pan as your weaponsbefore they rip you into shreds.

Faye goes to walk away and the bar tender grabs her arm, Damien stands and Faye pauses to look back down at the mans hand. The man looks over at Damien, whom stares at him with an empty expression filling his face. Damien slowly reaches up over his other shoulder to grasp the hilt of his second katana blade. Slowlythe barkeep starts getting nervous upon his hand grasping a hold of its hilt.

Bar Keep No, noI apologize. Please, wait. Three Thousand Gold for the hitpleaseI cant stand those bastards breaking into my tavern at night and stealing everything every other night! Its going to put me out of business and I have no other hopeif I got brokethen its all over for me. Pleasetell me youll help me.

Faye stares silently down at the mans hand without even looking up to glare into his eyes. The man slowly releases her arm and eases backward very slowly as Damien takes a couple of steps around the table that he was sitting at in the corner of this bar. Faye looks to Damien and he stops, reading her eyes before she turns her attention back to the bar tender once again to continue speaking of this transaction.

Poison Fine. But, you better keep your hands to yourself from here onnext time you lay a hand on meyoull quickly become that boys playmate.

Damien sheaths his katana blade and sits back down as Faye points over at him

Poison Ohand everyone that plays with him DIES from having so much fun

The bar tender chuckles nervously, trying to hide his fear when he cannot

The look on the bar tenders face reminds him of the look on one of the Clan masters that Mantis had taught to teach the Murder Squad unitthe look on that mans face when Codename: Bloodthinnerkilled him in the heat of battle. That scared expressionone that Damien has felt once, back when Mantis told him, One day I will not be here to protect you anymore, my apprenticeduring a training session, back when he was just a child around the age of ten. Kicking the ten year olds ass to make him tough.

Mantis There will come a timeboywhen I cannot help you anymore. My debt to society will finally have been paid offandI will have been chosen by the god of death to serve him in the distant world of loss souls and wretched memories.

Finallywhat Mantis had told him that dayfifteen years ago, makes sense. Understanding what Mantis meant by My debt to society will finally have been paid off concerning the creation and construction of such a massive clan under him. But, still till this dayhe doesnt understand the I will have been chosen by the god of death mumbo-jumboconsidering the fact that Damien doesnt believe in Gods.

Poison Alright, solet me get this straight. Youre going to pay us Three Thousand Goldto wipe out a few vampire punks that keep breaking into this tavern at night?

Bar Keep Yes! That is correct! The bar closes when the night sky starts to brighten up. Thatswhen they must come in and steal everything, waituntil I decide to re-open the bar again at nightthen, they leave after threatening me to keep quiet. They keep telling me Dont tell Lord Vain or well have your head.

Damien quirks a brow, standing from the table again, walking toward the bar tender, the tender looks at him and instantly gets scared. Curiosity staining his face, looking like hes pondering what he said or did wrong to provoke Damien to come over to his location. Faye smirks, noticing how people of Kazel dont have the same backbone that those whom resided once in the Andin Islands before the take over began.

Poison Ok. You will pay us half of it nowthenwe will collect the rest of the one thousand five-hundred gold pieces when weve left you the dead corpses of your thievesso, fork over half of the gold and well take care of you tonight.

The bar keep nods his head thankfully, quickly shuffling through his pocket to pull out his bag of gold coins. He starts emptying the gold out onto the counter, theres only about four thousand gold pieces there in total. But, Faye and Damien dont give a rats ass about his welfare when all they can care about are themselves. They wouldnt care if he had to go and steal the rest of the gold from his dying grandmother for all they were concerned, as long as they got the gold that they need to get by wealthily.

Nightstalker - that scent.

Faye looks to Damien as she collects on half of their payment from the bars countertop. Putting the gold pieces in her gold pouch as the bar tender separates the gold into three groups. The remaining gold that he wont be paying them to take care of his dirty workis the smallest group out of the three, that being the past two years worth of hard work hes put into running this tavern here. Damien smells that scent.

Nightstalker - dontmove

The bartender stops moving and Faye stops as well, Damien looks over to two mysterious figures in cloaks as they enter the tavern and have a seat at the very table he was sitting at earlier, to the left of the bar that they stand at, collecting their gold. That scent lingers in the back of his mind, trying to remember where he had smelt that fragrance before. Female whatever it is

Nightstalker Its that little girl

The day he ran into the redheaded child with wings was but a brief moment. It was latebut all his memory can ring up is that she was crying out by the oceans water back on one of the many Islands of the Andins. She cried in terror, ashamed of what she had becomewas his best guess. She was a vampire. He remembers trying to approach her to figure out if thats what she really wassure enough. She attacked him, as if she had just lured him to herself like a set trap.

It wasnt a battle, more like a wrestling match with a weak/thirsty vampire that needs to feed. He pinned her down and stared down into her innocent eyes that were filled with lust and rage. He held her down just long enough to calm her thirst, just long enough until she started crying and begging for mercy. Pleading for her life, swearing that shell never try to bite him again if he lets her live. The heart of the human that beats within his chest allowed to spare the child her vampire strain of misery she can call a pathetic life.

Nightstalker Babe, you take care of the gold. Ill take care of this.

Faye quirks a brow, then shrugs. She nods her head and gets back to collecting the gold as Damien turns and breaks from the bar to approach the two figures in cloaks. Faye keeps conversation going with the bartender to nullify suspicion for Damiens actions of movement as he heads back over toward the table that he was once sitting at, the table that has now the two unidentified personnels in cloaks. One is short a childs height at best, and the other is just as tall as him self. As he gets closer the scent hits him again.

Poison Sowhos this Lord Vain Guy they were talking about?

Both of the cloaked figures turn their attention over toward Faye, looking right at Damien but clearly past him as the bar tender starts explaining his god, aloud. Damien listens as well, but stops walking after noticing how both cloaked figures snapped their attention over toward Faye, whom happens to be about ten feet behind him.

Bar Keep Hes the most vicious God on Durellia! Hes the God of Death! Hes the man responsible for all of the Vampires that are everywherewellby technicality, it was his father that started their disgusting breedbuthes the one that brought fourthwaron Durelliaafter the total destruction of Wesnectify. It was such a beautiful continentits a shame that now, it remains as ruins with no signs of life.

The two cloaked figures pause and then look back to one another, they stand from their seats and Damien slowly reaches his hands up to grab the hilt of both of his katana blades. But, to notice how the two cloaked figures exit the tavern. They didnt order a drink, they didnt eatit appears that they just came in and heard of Vains trilogyrested for a moment and then just left. Maybe, that wasnt lucy

Poison Bar KeepDo you have a room for us to rest in for the time being

Bar Keep Yes, of course I doits the room on the left just up those stairs.

Poison Thank youFood and Water would be appreciated as well.

Bar Keep Right away, I will bring both up to you when your already settled in.

Poison Excellent.

Nightstalker - Its going to be a long night

Damien looks over to Faye as she looks back to him, also curious to whom those two cloaked figures were that acted very deliberately when the bar tender spoke of lord vain. Then, after they head up the stairs after collecting on the first half of their assassination money. They get up to their room and Damien finds the closest wall to the door, to sit with his back up againstafter Faye enters behind him and closes it.

Damiens mind boggles with what the bar tender said concerning God of Death

Nightstalker Fayedo you think Mantis could be here?

Poison I dont know Damien, perhapsitispossible? Im more curious to whom those two cloaked figures wereyou were acting strangely concerning them

Nightstalker Remember when I told you about the little redheaded girl with wings?

Poison Yeah?

Nightstalker I thinkthe little one was her, her fragrance gave it away

Faye slowly nods her head, looking down at the money pouch
