The God of Death

Vain sits there on his throne, deep in thought. Distraught in his mindset, stuck on this world dominance scheme. Wondering why he should take over this pathetic world of men for another typical man, especially one that hes never met before in his life. The thought of being a son of the god of vampires is overwhelming and in a sense, it brings him a great amount of pride. But, something doesnt feel right.

- Vain -
Vatar? Are you afraid of anything?

- Vatar -
Of course, Your Excellency. The world was built upon fear.

Vain looks over at Vatar, as he stands there to the right of Vains black throne. Vatar speaks to Vain with his eyes set forward on the large double wooden doors at the entrance to this throne room, at the very top of the dark castles structure.

- Vatar -
 Its Sukinahitoisnt it?

Vain averts his attention away from Vatar. His eyes fixing, adjusting to the dimly lit atmosphere of the candlelight, cascading shadows that dance on the stone stacked walls of his throne room. In silence, his mind runs through too many options of what can uphold this fear that fights against his want and need to rule Durellia as whole. Purposely allowing his mind to wander. Searching for any answer besides the truth that hides behind the eyes of his older brother, Sukinahito. Vain closes his eyes and sighs.

- Vain -
of course

Reopening his eyes to have them scan over this dark room. The moonlight shining in through the dirty windows from which have been overpopulated with dusty cobwebs. Abandoned by any signs of maintenance. Further enlightening this room of thought. Where Vain sits to ponder further actions concerning Durellias destruction. The evil heart that beats within, pumping harder after admitting defeat.

- Vain -
I dont think I can kill him

- Vatar -
Little alone, his party contains the likings of Alladon and Neko

Blinking to the thought of fighting two of his siblings and the very man that was powerful enough, six hundred years agoto cast his father away in a seal spell. Figuring that Alladon is a force to reckon with, Vain outlines the actual chance of defeating the combination of overpowering opponents. Only coming up with the factsknowing that half of his Nemesis clan would fall during that final battle.

- Vatar -
Wish for me to have Vareth search for the others, your excellency?

After a moment to contemplate it, Vain slightly nods and speaks

- Vain -
who do you have in mind?

- Vatar -
 For starters, ShenLucySyn, and Foxy.

Thinking of these four. But, only knowing whom Syn is since hes a vampire. Vains mind contemplates what hes looking at concerning the other four names Vatar had just given him, but to add light to the subject. Vain speaks of Syn, the Syn he knowsthus, making sure Vatar is thinking of the same one that he is so theyre on the same page.

- Vain -
Syn? The vampire that can Absorb others abilities, huh? Why him?

- Vatar -
Well, your excellency. Besides his fast pace and evasive fighting style with metal kendo sticks and throwing knives? His ability to absorb would be good to have, concerning the likes of youre older brother. Imaginewhat we can do, if we had an ally that can use that explosive kinetic energy that Sukinahito possess?

Vain slouches back in his throne chair to get comfortable

- Vatar -
Syn has also mastered confusion and healing magics, your excellency

Vain nods in agreement, still in silence to hear of more assets and options of battle

- Vatar -
Codename: Foxy, is a mage of the red robes. Allow for me to explain her importanceyour Excellency. For a mage, she is well informed, familiar with the art of battle. Shes advanced in long range with a longbow and deadly close range with two hand axes. Shes mostly known for her magic of manipulation, confusion, water and gravity - which will only intensify your own powers and make them exceed, your Excellency.

- Vain -
hmmm, Go on

- Vatar -
Yes, your Excellency. She has the ability to disengage seal spells. Which not only means that we can get your father back, butthat also means that if shes by our side when we battle Alladon? He wont be able to use any seal spells as long as shes alive and focused on him. We wont have to worry about getting sealed away. The only thing bad about her is the fact that I dont know what her birth name is, nobody does.

Vain smiles

- Vatar -
The next will be more difficult to retrieve, your excellency. But, her name is Lucyshes a demon of Hades her self, trapped within the body of a human slave girl named Arigne. Now, this slave girl was the prisoner bartender of the tavern that youve yet to receive your gold from, yesVlads tavern is where she once was.

Vain pauses, wondering where Vatar is getting at on this note

- Vatar -
Lucy has been sealed away in that slave girls body by Hadesto take the chance of us from using it the way we want to. But, Lucy has the ability of telekinesis, which would have been a great force to have on our side of this war. But, not only could she move items with her mind? She also knows the ability of Ani-magi, in other words? She knows how to do the same thing Vareth doesby turning into animals.

The thought of Lucy being a demon is something Vain doesnt like

- Vain -
If you had this Demon in mind, then apparently it will do whatever I tell it to do, right? Its just the matter of pulling it from this human girls body? A simple task for Vareth to follow through withwhere do we find this girl, anyway?

- Vatar -
Arigne went free from Vlads tavern and now? Shes with Sukinahito

Vain narrows his eyes, now knowing that shes out of the question

- Vatar -
I only hope Sukinahito grows too attached to the girl, to pull Lucy from her body

Vain wonders the possibilities for he doesnt know his brother that well

- Vain -
We must discover a way to get thisArigne girl. We cannot afford that in the end.

Vatar nods, understanding where Vain is coming from. Then, he continues

- Vatar -
The last but certainly not least, Shenwould be another great factor to our force. Shen is another demonyesbut he has the ability to cloak and shape-shift. Not only that, but he duels two katana bladesimpressivelyin the defensive and close-ranged fighting styles. He has little magic, but doesnt need it. Hes quick and powerful, he can match youre fighting abilities in a sword fight, Your Excellency.

- Vain -
He can cloak and shape-shift, huh? Hmmminteresting.

- Vatar -
Indeed

Vain sits forward, interlocking his fingers, resting his forearms on his knees, his eyes ravishing the throne room floor for a moment in silence. Contemplating what he could possibly do, upon getting all four of these people to become one with his nemesis clan. The possibilities are endless. The options all on the table; doors all opening at once for world dominance to become that of the inevitable. Vain smiles, yet again.

- Vain -
Good work, my friend. Contact Vareth and have him go give Syn my offer

- Vatar -
Yes, your excellency. And what do you wish to do about the other three?

Vain contemplates how its suicide to make a kidnapping attempt on Arigne

- Vain -
The slave girl will have to wait. Focus on Syn for the moment. I want you to go reason with Foxy, shell be more willing to listen to you opposed to mebut I shall go personally discuss this with this one you call Shen.

- Vatar -
 Yes, Your Excellency.

Vatar nods his head to Vain, then exits his throne room to leave Vain there, to sit back and get lost in a daze. Thinking about how things will start working in his favor again, after hearing the news of Sukinahito forming a party with Alladon. All of the pawns on this board of chess he plays with Sukinahito, that reside in continents that hes yet to start taking overhave no importance to him as of yet, and may never will.

. o O ( I have to expand my clan before Sukinahitos party grows too large) O o .

Vain looks toward the window, staring up at the moon from his sitting position on his throne. Blinking up at it, watching the curtains gust in the wind that come in from where glass used to be many years ago. The cobwebs gently moving in the winds passive caress through it, sighing again, thinking to him self, lost in thought.

. o O ( How come youre so powerful, brother? Why am I so afraid of you? ) O o .

Vain looks away from the window, to rise from his seat. Walking to the open window, to feeling the wind crashing against his face. He stares out at the night sky, staring up at the stars. Wondering how hes going to defeat his older brother in the end.

. o O (I cant winI justcant) O o .

Placing a hand to the bars there in the window sill, he sighs once more then turns to exit his throne room. Pulling the heavy double doors open, he exits to walking down a flight of stairs. Staring down at the steps that his feet tread upon as he steps down, stair by stair. In no hurry to give his life away with Sukinahito, wondering what his purpose would be on Durelliaif it werent to bedestroying everything in it.

Another smile comes to his face
