| At 7:00 on the morning of February 6, 2003, I started feeling alot of pressure in my back, and I was not in a comfertable state. I woke Derek up and said: "Don't freak out, but I think I am having contractions" I was. We had planned on going to a friends house that day, as well as meeting with another friend at a coffee shop in London. On the way there (an hour drive) we both decided to just go to the hospital and see what was going on, since I was starting to feel more pain. We still had no idea it was labor! We arrived at the hospital and I was checked. The nurse said: "Your doing VERY well considering you are 8 cen. dialated!" I was in HORRIBLE pain at this point, so I decided on the epidural. After I got it, life was good again! They broke my water and sent me into another room to begin pushing. A few Hours of pushing and we had a beautiful baby boy! |
