Mum and Dad met during the war , and had four children. They were married on April 1st. 1944. They were happy until they lost their eldest daughter Barbara Florence in January 1949. Eleven days after her 4th birthday. I was their second child born in 1947 and they had two boys. Barry, born 1950 and Roy, born 1955. Mum took ill with cancer and died in October 1991.
