| MANGO-GINGER SAUCE Adapted from a recipe found on the Internet |
| 3 ripe mangoes, peeled and seeded (dice one and set aside) 2 cloves of garlic, peeled 2 lg fingers of ginger, peeled and sliced juice from one orange juice from one lime 1 tbsp sesame oil (optional) salt and pepper to taste 1 tbsp Sriracha (thai red chile Paste) Set aside diced mango. Put all remaining ingredients in food processor or blender, puree until smooth. Add water if necessary to achieve desired consistency. Pour into saucepan, add diced mango and gently heat, stirring often. Serve warm over Asian style noodles, rice, and/or steamed veggies. |
