| Scalloped Potatoes Potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced Onion, thinly sliced Garlic, minced (optional) Rice or soy milk Flour Salt and pepper Layer potatoes and onion in a casserole dish, sprinkling flour, salt and pepper between each layer. Sprinkle garlic over top. Pour milk over everything until potatoes are covered. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 90 minutes (or until potatoes are tender), removing cover for last 15 minutes to brown. NOTE: I did not list amounts because this recipe can be used for 1 potato or 25 lbs. I also use very thin sliced potatoes, time may vary with thicker slices. Enjoy! |
