Clickety-Clack Mrs. Rose

Clickety-Clack! Clickety-Clack!

Here comes Mrs. Rose,
who wakes at every sunrise with eyes of round,
and a smile under her nose.
Sunshine follows wherever she goes.

Clickety-Clack! Clickety-Clack!

On a good day morning
you can hear Mrs. Rose,
She walks with her wooden sandals,
that shows her ten little toes.

Clickety-Clack! Clickety-Clack!

Off to the market Mrs. Rose goes.
Upon a flower bed she picks her rose.
One for her dress that sparkles under the sun,
and one for her purse to match just for the fun.

Clickety-Clack! Clickety-Clack!

Everyone says Mrs. Rose likes to dream.
She dreams blue sky with beautiful cotton whites;
the sun shines on every corner;
the houses rise above the water;
and there...
will always be boats...and boats...and the boats...
