Sand Hill Merlot is our youngest Half-Welsh colt produced by the wonderful cross of Individual Legion of Merit Stallion Caingan St. Edmund and Critter (our AQHA Mare). This colt is a beautiful blood bay (possibly black-bay) with white socks on his right front and hind feet. Merlot is very true to pony type just like his full brother Champagne. Both colts have wonderful movement to compliment their good looks. We are very exited about Merlot and the pony he is maturing into.
