Dear Colleague, 

It is great pleasure to announce that Sumatibhai Shah Ayurved Mahavidyalaya & Saneguruji Arogya Kendra Hadapsar Pune 28 in association with National Sushrut association Maharashtra is orgenising a International CME on “ Marma, Shalya, Shalakya, Streerog & Prasuti-tantra” to be followed by 4th Annual Conference of National Sushrut Association on 9th, 10th & 11th Jan 2003 the theme of the CME and the annual conference is Inspiring The Generation Next.

Sumtibhai Shah Ayurved Mahavidyalaya , Pune is Acclaimed as one of the best Ayurved colleges in India, Imparting Knowledge of Ayurveda and havingTalented Teaching Faculty.

Sane Guruji Arogya Kendra, a 200 bed hospital with five operation complex. Number of patients operated annually, touches eight thousand mark. Essentially an Ayurvedic Hospital with state of art Panchkarma Unit with all essential modern amenities completes the picture the OPD attendance is 70,000 patients annually The Maharashtra Branch of NSA will strive to make this event a great success. Members of the NSA Maharashtra are Nationally acclaimed for this surgical prowess. Hence for the first time Live Surgical Demonstrations will be presented exclusively by surgeons of Indian System of Medicine (Surgeries in Shalya, Shalakya, Streerog & Prasuti tantra).

The Two-day annual conference to follow the CME will deal with the challenges of the future and the response of Ayurvedic Surgeon to it, with a clear perspective of Inspiring the Generation Next.

So brace yourself for a unique, practical and inspiring response in Shalya, Shalakya, Streerog & Prasuti- tantra in the CME and voice of experience and knowledge in the 4th Annual conference SANDHANA 2003.

Sandhana means to join. So let’s join the hands to strengthen this association of surgeons in particular and Ayurved in general. Pune the Kashi of south and Oxford of east, the capital of Great Maratha Empire is extremely proud of it’s Tradition and Heritage. Many forts and places of historical importance surrounded it.
