PTA MINUTES 24.2.09

Present: Pradeep Popat, Aarti, Sejal. Asha, late arrival P Kotecha 

Minutes of last meeting agreed.
Action  Sejal to find out if Rakesh Radia is still a member.
 Piyush to chase up regards bank account opening and possibly consider changing bank if account is not opened.

PTA website to have links to school site, Piyush agreed to up date website.
Graduation presentation took place after year 6 SATS meeting, which was done by Nisha and Dharmesh ,
There was a slide show of last years graduation and how it was put together parents were asked if they would like to contribute as it was for their children any ideas or help welcomed.
Good response .

April 1st Wednesday cake sale: ask Amanda to put in newsletter,
Stating when and where sale taking place, when and where to bring in cakes for the sale, also most important to list ingredients in the cake.
Competition children to decorate Easter egg and bring on the day,  with name of child and class,there is to be 3prizes for each keystage.cakes to come on the day of sale, sale to take place  3.15 to 4.15pm.
Ask parents to help on the day.
At next meeting will discus who will collect eggs.

Summer fete : look at budget and as to how we could use money as needed.
Action sejal to email Amanda to ask if we could ask parent to meet on 10 March at 5.15 to start at 5.30 regards summer fete.
Have a look at insurance to make sure of cover and also when Maggie can come and speak to group regards health and safety.
Bring any photos of past events that we could use for our website to encourage more involvement, to be bought to next meeting.

 Sejal Chair actioned that we needed a assistant chair in her absences ,nisha popat was nominated.

Amanda to ask teachers and assistants to take part or give ideas for summer fete and cake sale.
Written ideas for summer fair to share with group.
