Kate is a mean and snobby 8th grade - going into ninth grade cheerleader. She used to be best friends with Lizzie, Miranda, and Gordo when she was young. But as Lizzie explains, Kate went away one summer and came back with a bra and started being mean. Even though being popular and snotty, Kate has a really nice and caring side. And just hides it up to be popular. Kate's best friend is Claire, another snobby cheerleader who is even worse than Kate. One of the episodes that shows about how much Kate is really nice, is "The Rise and Fall of Kate", which is when Kate breaks her arm, and has to drop out of cheerleading. Then Claire takes over as Queen of the School and it doesn't work out for anyone. So Lizzie and the gang help Kate to win back the position again. In the "Lizzie McGuire Movie", Kate becomes friends and is nice to Lizzie. Go see it, if you want to see Kate's nice side, this is the movie for you!
