Design and implement curricula and student activities for kindergarten students. Formulate and implement specialized long-term growth plans, applying national and local educational standards to classroom activities. Provide safe, fair, and consistent classroom environment to promote learning. Use accepted theories of education and child development to guide the behavior of students in a positive manner to instill self-discipline and respect for other people. Observe students for academic and behavioral progress. Discuss progress of students with parents. Bachelor�s degree or equivalent (Associates plus two years of experience is acceptable in lieu of Bachelor�s degree) in Early Childhood Education plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as an Early Childhood Teacher required. Education must include coursework in; Curricula for Early Childhood Programs; Language Development in Young Children; and Health and Safety of Young Children. 40 hrs/wk; 9am � 5pm; $22,012/yr. Must be Director Qualified.
