WE LOVE TO COOK�
January brings cold weather and our Sandbox Cooking Unit. The last 2 weeks of January will find us mixing, measuring, stirring and kneading. We'll note the changes adding ingredients together makes; wet to dry to soft, etc. We find cooking to be so beneficial, increasing vocabulary, enhancing conservation awareness, developing fine and gross motor skills and enforcing good nutrition. Watch for your ingredient lists that will complete our recipes.
HOLIDAY TUTION REMINDER�
Tuition is due whether your child was in attendance or not. Please check your policy book and tuition agreement for specifics. If you have any questions, please ask. Reductions cannot occur as our utilities continue (mortgage, gas, electric, taxes, etc.) This is not only a Sandbox policy, but also is a common practice at the majority of Child Care Centers.
WHAT'S IN A NAME�
We wear so many clothes at this time of year! And guess what� some of us share the same good taste in clothes. Please label, label, label (boots, jackets, gloves, everything).
REPORT CARDS ARE COMING�
Report cards will be issued in mid-February. Parent-Teacher conferences will follow at the end of February.
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU�
to all families who gave the staff group gifts. The popcorn, the chocolates, the Duffy Smorgasbord just to name a few were GREAT! We enjoyed them all thoroughly.
A COUPLE REMINDERS�
January supplies are due. They include 2 rolls of paper towels, 1 box of 5 ounce cups, 2 glue sticks, 1 box of Kleenex and $1.00.
JANUARY ALSO BRINGS�.
our registration for fall. We're moving our Open House to January 23rd from 5 PM to 8 PM. As of February 1st, we'll open registration to the public. All currently enrolled students must re-register.

WELCOME TO SANDBOX�
to Mrs. Barb who is now in the Music and Movement in the Green Feathers Room, Miss Jill who has Monday, Wednesday and Friday Math and Science in the Orange Feathers Room and Miss Sherri who has the afternoon 1 23 1/2 year olds. Mrs. Paula is helping in the Math Room on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They're all wonderful, enthusiastic professionals. Welcome to our Staff ladies!
