| The Nail Polish/Toe Ring Debate Continues... Once again, the debate over whether men should wear nail polish, maily clear polish, and whether men should wear toe rings, has appeared on the message board of this site. I thought I'd address it in a column, and hope for feedback from readers and viewers of this site. I remember the first time it hit me that men were getting into clear nail polish. A close friend of mine went for a pedicure and manicure, and when he came back, his nails were as glossy and shiny as I've ever seen them on a man. Initially, I didn't like it--but, after about an hour, I took a look at his sandaled feet and toes, and wow were his toes shiny hot. He had beautiful feet and toes, so it just accentuated the already gorgeous. He encouraged me to do the same thing--and I did--and I was hooked. That was three years ago...and my toes have never been the same since. I bought this Orly Male Nails. It's a clear polish, not too shiny, not too dull. The clean pedicured look is incredible--and the shine is not over doing it. Obviously, I wear sandals all the time, and the comments I get on my shiny toes comes mostly from guys who want to know what I did. I've since gotten a lot of my male friends hooked. It's awesome. Not all men are hooked. Some think it's just to feminine--that's fine. I just come from the thought it's classy and neat. Give it a shot. Search Orly Male Nails--you can order it hassle-free from the internet, and it's cheap. Now toe rings. Yes, I wear one sometimes. I've always looked at it as a somewhat feminine thing, but I don't care. I haven't seen many straight men wearing toe rings, but I still love seeing a man's sandaled foot with a toe ring. The toe ring I wear now is adjustable, and I got it off of EBay. It was $6. To each his own on this one, too, but give it a shot. It will certainly help you attract more fellow foot/sandal fetishers.
