| Anna Marie Shoshan was born in Seattle in 1972. Ms. Shoshan spent a year at Kibbutz Gesher located in the Bet Shean Valley, before returning to study English Lit. and Art History in Seattle. Ms. Shoshan returned to Israel in 1993 where she work organizing fund raising missions to Israel until 1998. In 1998, Ms. Shoshan began both Marketing and Technical writing for a BioTech company in Jerusalem. Currently, Ms. Shoshan is writing for a Tel Aviv based TeleCommunications company. Ms. Shoshan is married to Oren Shoshan of Jerusalem. Mr. Shoshan is from an old Jerusalem family dating back 17 generations in Jerusalem's Old City. Mr. Shoshan is a warrant officer in an IDF special unit. The Shoshans currently reside in the colorful community of Rimonim. Rimonim is located on the edge of the sand swept Judean desert to South, The Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan to the East, the lush Jordan Valley to the North, and ancient city of Jerusalem to the West. Anna has been published in several literary journals both locally, and in the US as well. |
