Hello and Welcome to the World of Sanctus Bells Most Catholic Christians (at least the more mature ones) are familiar with Sanctus bells. Many wonder about them. Some long to hear their joyful sounds. Still others erroneously believe their use during the Mass is now either no longer needed or is prohibited altogether by the Church. In response I prepared a short monograph which explores the history (both fact and fiction) and current use of Sanctus bells in the Church. This work also looks at the potential of Sanctus bells as powerful devotional aids in the Catholic Church today. |
